A visually stunning book!
This book is wonderful on many levels. Not only is it a remarkable rendition of an Indian legend it is beautifully wrought with incredibly detailed artwork. Each page offers something unexpected and delightful to return to again and again. Recommended for children of all ages, wonderful addition to libraries seeking story books about Indian daily life, ancient myths, and the changes of seasons.

Great Kit for Vacation Bible School!
I have chosen this kit to use for VBS at an Episcopal church. It comes with a planning guide, plus teacher guides for little kids, older kids and youth/adults. There are plenty of choices for crafts to go with each lesson. We were thrilled to find this program that is clearly bible based. No junky items have to be purchased with it (such as toys, baseball caps or special decorations - if you've been searching, you KNOW what I mean!). The materials you need can be easily found. Also comes with two game boards to use during group activities. It's a big plus to be able to include adults as well as kids so everyone can talk about what they learned. Although this product comes up in the 'book' list, it's a whole lot more!!!

Periodontology for the Dental Hygienist
Published in Paperback by W B Saunders (15 January, 2001)
Authors: Dorothy A. Perry, Phyllis Beemsterboer, Edward J. Taggart, and W B Saunders
Average review score:

Comprehensive text for dental hygienists on periodontology!
In the past, editors watered down their texts for dentists and served them to dental hygienists. This textbook has always considered the dental hygienist a central focus in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease. I have used this text as a reference for my CE courses and studies, but also for my patients in order to understand grafts, implants and other aspects of treatment that sometimes are not fully explained my practitioners. This area has expanded so much in new technologies that I am already looking forward to the next edition.

Perry and The Professor: A Prairie Dog Story
Published in Paperback by Agreka Books (February, 2000)
Authors: William H., Ph.D. Edwards, Donna Day Asay, and Ph.D. William H Edwards
Average review score:

A real life story Excellent and almost unbelievable.
This story could only happen to a dedicated lover of all creatures. A biology teacher with a passion for his work comes across a baby Prairy Dog. The mother was dead, so he takes it home and gives it the care necessary to keep it alive. When the baby was strong enough he took it to school and shared the experiences with his students. This tale is so fascinating that I was happy that it was a short story, because I couldnt put it down until I read the entire story. What a life this Prairie Dog led. Great story I recommend it to everyone, regardless of their age.

Perry Mason: The Case of the Reluctant Model (7201-Audio/2 Cassettes)
Published in Audio Cassette by Dh Audio (March, 1992)
Authors: Erle Stanley Gardner and William Hootkins
Average review score:

Slander or a Bunco Game?
Mason's client was angry. A rival art dealer had proclaimed a work he had sold was a forgery. He wanted to sue for slander. Mason told him he didn't want to do that. If he did that, the papers would carry the story about the art dealer was accused of fraud. Instead, Mason suggested that the dealer's client sue for devaluing the painting in question.

Everything appears to be going well, with the witness giving her deposition, and art experts authenticating the painting. But then the witness takes a run-out powder, the art critic ends up dead, and Mason is faced with defending a client against a mountain of evidence.

Perry Robinson: The Traveler
Published in Paperback by Writers Club Press (March, 2002)
Authors: Florence F. Wetzel and Perry Robinson
Average review score:

A softly, unusually free ,cat
When I found this book, I nearly flipped out. Why? Well, Perry and I were stationed together at the Naval School of Music in 1963. I had the opportunity to slightly get to know him.
Reading this book was an adventure into my memories as well as Perry's. His words came naturally making this life trip on paper very cool, sometimes sad, often comical, and searingly truthful. As the cliche goes, I couldn't put the book down and find my self, even after finishing it, going back for seconds.
Wonderful reading about a master musician who prefers his shadows.

Personal Identity
Published in Paperback by University of California Press (June, 1975)
Author: John Perry
Average review score:

Personal Identity, ed. John Perry
This is a terrific collection of works on problems concerning personal identity (what are the criteria for personal identity? is personal identity presupposed by the criterion of memory? does personal identity matter?) including both historical pieces (Locke, Hume, Butler, Reid) and contemporary ones (Grice, Williams, Perry, Parfit.) It's a great introduction to the issues, but an introduction you'll not want to leave behind.
